Hooked on Phonics: Learn to Read App

Hooked on Phonics recognized that developing a mobile app with improved videos and interactive technology could revitalize this classic brand. Upon its launch, the app quickly rose to the top of the reading apps chart, receiving five-star ratings. Nearly ten years later, the Hooked on Phonics app remains among the top 50 most downloaded education apps and has helped millions of children learn to read. This was one of the first projects I worked on as a member of the Big Yellow Taxi team. I contributed countless illustrations for the trophy rewards system and had a large part in the user experience design.
