Puzzloo!es Book Series
I collaborated on this project with various copywriters, illustrators, and cover artists while with the Big Yellow Taxi team. Acting as project manager, managing editor, proofreader, puzzle creator, and layout designer, we created this series of 16 zany, funny stories with puzzles that, when solved, move the adventure forward. The main challenge was working within an abbreviated timeline, each book having a strict word count, page count, image guidelines, and puzzle parameters. With an iron-clad framework in place created by Peter Leonardo, we could create each book within three months while working on four books at a time. As a result, the first books hit the shelves of bookstores across the country even before the last books in the series had been completed.
